Traditionally the International Society for Neurochemistry will sponsor an Advanced School of Neurochemistry associated with the 22nd Biennial Meeting of the International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN).
Faculty and students will be accommodated in the GyeongJu TEMF hotel. Lectures and discussions will cover latest developments in research on synaptic transmission as well as neuron-glia communication and other intercellular signaling processes in the nervous system. School language will be English.
The School is open for young scientists (graduate students and young postdocs up to 4 years after graduation). Online application for the School will open in fall. Deadline for applications: January 31, 2009.
About 40 students will be selected from all applications. For the successful applicants the ISN will provide free access to the School including accommodation and transfer to the main meeting in Busan. A limited number of travel grants will also be available.
