As a tradition, the International Society for Neurochemistry will sponsor an Advanced School of Neurochemistry associated with the 23. ISN-ESN Biennial Meeting of the International Society for Neurochemistry (ISN http://www.neurochemistry.org/) to be held from August 28 - September 01, 2011, in Athens, Greece

The School will take place in Delphi.

Lectures and discussions will cover latest developments in research on the molecular mechanisms underlying higher cognitive functions in animals and humans. School language will be English.

The School is open for young scientists (graduate students and young postdocs up to 4 years after graduation). Online application for the School will open in November 2010.
Deadline for applications: January 31, 2011.

About 40 students will be selected from all applications. For the successful applicants the ISN will provide free access to the School including accommodation and transfer to the main meeting in Athens. A limited number of travel grants will also be available.
